Copyright Policy

If you believe in good faith that any material provided through the service infringes upon your copyright, you may send notice to Lifestyle Orbit requesting that the material or access to the material be removed promptly. We are committed to protecting intellectual property rights and ensuring compliance with copyright laws.

Procedure for Making Claims of Copyright Infringement

At Lifestyle Orbit, we work closely with copyright owners to protect their intellectual property and ensure that unauthorized content is not distributed via our platform. If you believe in good faith that any material provided through the service infringes upon your copyright, you can file a notice requesting the removal of the material in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) by providing our Copyright Agent with the following information in writing (see 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) for further details).

The notice must include the following:

1. Your Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. (Typing your name at the end of an email or electronically transmitted letter will suffice as an “electronic signature.”)
2. Description of Copyrighted Work: Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by one notification.
3. Identification of Infringing Material: A description of the material claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, along with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., URL or specific location on our platform).
4. Contact Information: Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
5. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. Accuracy and Authorization Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification

If you believe in good faith that a copyright infringement notice has been filed against you in error, you may send Lifestyle Orbit a counter-notification. This counter-notification must include:

1. Your Signature: A physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of Material: Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
3. Good Faith Statement: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
4. Consent to Jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your location or the location where Lifestyle Orbit operates and will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of such person.

Penalties for Misrepresentation

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the Copyright Act, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability.

Termination for Repeat Infringers

Lifestyle Orbit enforces a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
